Logo Grab is the new family board game by Drumond Park, suitable for anyone age eight and older. All you need to do is roll, spot and grab – sounds easy? We were kindly sent this to review.
When four members of UnderTheChristmasTree’s team took to the board they discovered that they needed to keep their wits about them as with Logo Grab everyone plays this fun, fast paced game of big brands at once.

Setting up the colourful game was really very easy, simply shuffle the 48 coasters and lay out a 3 x 3 grid on the table. Put all the dice including the 2 bell-filled ones into the dice bag and deal out another two coasters to each player and lay all coasters face up. There are 48 coasters in total – 12 each of Red, Yellow, Blue and Green.
John went first and pulled 4 dice from the red dice bag and rolled them into the centre of the table, this is when it all started to go a little crazy and chaos reigned as four members of the UTCT team tried to spot a dice that had a letter on it that matched the first letter of one of the brands on the cards.
Mandy was first to spot a match as she correctly matched an ‘R’ on Rice Krispies and as she grabbed the dice she quickly shouted out the brand, fortunately, on this occasion, the dice didn’t ring and she collected her winning coaster and added it to her collection of 3 coasters.
Once again the dice were rolled and this time John was determined to be first to grab a dice. As they settled on the table a ‘crazy’ look came over his face as he spotted Pot Noodle and quickly shouted out the name, elbowing Katy out of his way. As luck would have it, he got there first! As he picked up the dice we thought Rudolph had come along to take a look, as the sweet, sweet sound of a bell ringing could be heard around the table, meaning he had lost one of his coasters, which had to be placed at the bottom of the main deck. By now the team almost fell off their seats as they laughed at the expressions on John’s face.
Collecting their thoughts and wiping the tears from their eyes, the team continued playing Logo Grab until Mandy collected two sets of 3 of the same coloured coasters (each coaster has a coloured band across each end which represents their brand category) and was the winner. John who came last had to let the moths out of his wallet and buy biscuits for our afternoon coffee break.
The team at UTCT had great fun playing Drumond Park’s Logo Grab and as it’s ideal for ages 8 – 108 we feel it would be an ideal for all the family to get involved. Guaranteed to ensure that even the quietest member of the family gets involved as they grab there dice and shout out their answer. We’re pretty sure Santa and Mrs Claus will be challenging the Elves to a game this Christmas!
