The Salisbury Christmas market will be bigger than ever this year and it will last for longer, organisers have said.
Last year’s event attracted 94,000 visitors and brought more than £5m into the city. Organisers have said that this year the number of stalls would increase and the events would run for 24 days instead of 18.
They hope the event will attract more than 100,000 visitors. The Christmas market will run from 28 November to 21 December.
After last year’s event, the city centre management team estimated visitors spent £2m at the market itself, and a further £3.6m elsewhere in the city.
