Sherlock Holmes Christmas Special To Go “Old School”

As we previously announced, there is set to be a Christmas special of Sherlock Holmes. Queue screams from all Benedict Cumberbatch fans (including us!). 

It has since been confirmed that the Christmas Special will be going “Old School” as the show runner Steven Moffat confirms the show will take place during it’s original era of the 1800’s.

Speaking of the Christmas Special, Moffat said:

“The special is its own thing. We wouldn’t have done the story we’re doing, and the way we’re doing it, if we didn’t have this special. It’s not part of the run of three episodes. So we had this to do it – as we could hardly conceal – it’s Victorian. [Co-creator Mark Gatiss] and me, we wanted to do this, but it had to be a special, it had to be separate entity on its own. It’s kind of in its own little bubble.”

We can’t wait to see what Sherlock & Dr Watson have in store for us this Christmas 2015!
