Should movies be less violent? Jim Carrey Thinks So

Jim Carrey Withdraws Support for Kick-Ass 2 movie as he feels it is too violent, do you agree that movies should be less violent?

The “Liar, Liar” actor who plays Colonel Stars and Stripes in the new Kick-Ass 2 movie has withdrawn support and says he can’t support ‘that level of violence’

Starring in the sequel of the hugely successful kick ass movie, Jim Carrey who stars as a masked vigilante and a born-again Christian has aroused speculation that he will refuse to preform promotional duties for the film on Twitter last night. He tweeted this:


However Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar said the actor’s decision was a “surprise” and was “baffled” by his decision. He said:  “Like Jim, I’m horrified by real-life violence (even though I’m Scottish), but Kick-Ass 2 isn’t a documentary.  No actors were harmed in the making of this production!”
