Skip dinner and head straight for Dessert with The Great British Bake Off

The Great British Bake Off Dessert Week 2013The remaining contestant’s will tonight take on the challenge of desserts – but will they be deliciously divine or devilishly disastrous?

One things for sure there will be plenty of stiff peaks and mousse-ing around!

After last week’s bread challenge where Ruby was crowned star baker, the contestants will take on my favourite part of the day – dessert, let’s just hope Sue doesn’t elbow any more of the bakes #Elbowgate

There will be plenty of meringues, tarts and creme caramels, so this means I’m going to have to have a bowl of something healthy to snack on as I  try to get through this Great British Bake Off  episode without reaching for the tiramisu, which is lying at the bottom of the freezer.

Who will give out the best snappy “re-torte” if their desserts are a bit too wobbly?  The big question is, who will be desserting us tonight?

UnderTheChristmasTree has started to think about Christmas desserts and what was our favourite? Now we obviously can’t just pick one, as we do have a few, but an overall favourite is a chocolate chestnut roulade, what is your favourite Christmas dessert?
