Are you ready for the second most wonderful time of the year? We hope so! as the Christmas 2019 press shows have begun. Here we give you a sneak peak from UK retailers such as Tesco, John Lewis and Aldi.
Christmas trees are twinkling with baubles, fairy lights are draped over tables and the dulcet tones of IT’S CHRISTMAS are being blasted across the airwaves, this can only mean one thing, Christmas in July has begun.

This year the Co-Op has been show casing a gingerbread Christmas tree, a wide range of party food, a tree filled with all of it’s festive sandwiches much more – we can already tell we would have eaten the gingerbread Christmas tree.

Asda is up next with a wide range of food inspired baubles such as sprouts, food mixes and broccoli. Illuminated animals such as pigs, octopus and a narwhal all made an appearance at the #AsdaXmas19 press show.

It’s all about cheese this Christmas at the Tesco Christmas In July press event as the company showcases a wide variety of festive cheese including a Camembert, cheese truckle and more.

But wait – it’s only June.
The festive press shows are starting this week, yes EVEN earlier than ever before, Christmas in “July” or June nowadays, is a host events, held by big major brands including John Lewis, Lidl, Aldi, Debenhams who then give press a sneak peek to what is to come this festive season.
And we’ve got the inside scoop….
Kicking things off is Lidl, the showcase will start at 11.30am on the 20th June. Lidl showcased a host of new and old favourites including baby chocolate Santa’s & a glittery house you pour hot chocolate sauce over, yeah these wont last long in the office for us.
