Twitter went Sylvanian Families mad on 16th October, as Flair’s brand trended twice in the UK’s top tweets and proved more popular than Girls Aloud and England’s football match against Poland.
It’s all thanks to a successful Twitter party which was organised by Evolution PR and UKMums.TV.
In just 2 hours #SylvanianFamiliesParty became the fourth hottest topic in the UK as the 25 top mummy bloggers, who hosted the parties at home, took part in activities and games as they invited thousands of Sylvanian Families fans to discuss the key toy lines.
Holly Lackey, Flair’s Sylvanian Families product manager commented on the success: ‘The Twitter Party was a fantastic way to celebrate Sylvanian Families’ 25th Anniversary year and we are delighted with the coverage that our 25 party hosts achieved.
‘The social media drive was just one of a number of incentives we have for autumn, with our gallery event at The Strand being next at the end of October. We hope that by spreading our reach the wonderful world of Sylvania can be enjoyed by even more of the UK public.’
