Famous Blue nose Tatty Teddy raises £14,000 for Children with Cancer.

On Saturday 10th November Tatty Teddy was suited and booted ready to raise as much funds as he can for an extremely worthwhile cause, Children with Cancer.

The event, held at the Great Room, The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, was a huge success with prizes raising an excess of £180,000.

Tatty Teddy took to the stage, after rubbing shoulders with celebrities such as James Martin, Tessa Sanderson and Theo Pathetis.

Jeff Banks who was running the auction ensured the tatty teddy prize raise a massive £14,000 which was more than that of tickets to see The Royal Variety Performance, with back stage passes to meet celebrities such as Robbie Williams, Michael McIntrye and David Walliams.

The prize which included an afternoon with Tatty Teddy and Steve Mort-Hill who created the special Me To You brand. The winner and their class received a magical pre-Christmas visit to the winning child’s school or hospital, an exclusive piece of hand drawn artwork, a personally signed card, commemorative photo with Tatty Teddy and a Christmas Stocking packed full of Me to You Goodies.

Many of the prizes auctioned were donated back to the families with children with cancer and we hope that the Tatty Teddy prize will also do just that. We’re thrilled that Tatty Teddy helped to raise so much money and my sincere thanks go out to the final bidder.

The entire evening has raised a lot of money, for a fabulous charity and…. we’ve all had a great time. Perfect!” said Stephen Haines, Chairman and Founder of Chichester based Carte Blanche Group who also attended.

Helping to raise funds to find a cure for children’s cancer and provide additional support to those families going through such bad times meant everyone who attended delved deep into their pockets to give as much as they could.
