We were delighted when Spin Master sent us the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Drive remote controlled car to put through it’s paces.John couldn’t wait to get his hands on it and quickly popped in the required 6 AA batteries (not included) and he was on his way.
Suitable for age 8 and over the car was easy to control. John started of with a few circuits of the office floor, he quickly got to grips with the remote control and was soon tilting and moving the remote just like an expert.
However, with the Zero Gravity Drive from Air Hogs, driving on the floor was only the beginning and in no time at all John was ready to test his gravity defying skills and placed the cool blue and white car on the wall for a gravity defying experience.
The infra red remote control puts out a light which the sensors in the car follow. The remote control is also the charger and for a 5 – 10 mins drive it’ll take around a 30 minute charge.
As the car follows the light from the remote control it actually handles better in slightly dim rooms. John felt that in order to get the most from the Zero Gravity Drive it was best to stay as close to the controller as possible as the further away you are the greater is the chance of losing your signal.
Suitable for indoor use only and measuring 8 x 27.6 x 30.5cm, John thought these would be ideal for racing against a friend and if you’re falling slightly behind hit the turbo button for an extra boost of speed and some cool light effects – coming second is never an option even if you are racing on the ceiling!
Kids (and adults) will have loads fun racing Spin Master’s Air Hogs Zero Gravity Drive around the home. With an RRP of £39.99 it is available from Amazon priced around £25.50.
