The Entertainer’s Top Christmas Toys

Crackers and mince-pies are the order of the day as The Entertainer releases their list of which toys they think we’ll  be searching for this Christmas.

The Entertainer is the latest in the line of toy retailers to announce their top Christmas Toys List for 2012.

This year they have increased their list to include a baker dozen of products to accommodate the increasing number of kids tablets that are now available.

New releases such as Furby and Monsuno have made it into the top 13 along with all time favourites Lego, Vtech and Leapfrog.

Prices vary from as little as £9 to top of the range £99.99 for the latest Lego release, with Furby, Lalaloopsy and Nerf middle of the range.

This is what Stuart Grant, The Entertainer’s buying director, had to say: “Interactive toys are very exciting for youngsters and stimulate their senses and imagination”.

“They pick up new technology in a flash and love getting their hands on the grown-up gadgets.

“Parents have cottoned on to the idea that they can use their children’s appetite for technology to boost their learning, which is what makes the tablets so popular.”

He also added “Blockbuster films have really inspired some of our choices this year”.

“Overall, it’s a very exciting collection for 2012 and we expect everything on the list to be high up a lot of young people’s Christmas lists.”

Now could be the time to ignore the rain battering against the windows, get the kettle on for our favourite cuppa and start our Christmas browsing.
