To celebrate the opening of the new Lego Star Wars Gallery in the Lego Star Wars Miniland Model Display, Legoland Windsor will be hosting a large number of themed Star Wars days.
From 4-6 May 2013, get your lightsabers at the ready as Legoland Windsor Resort will be invaded by 100 costume characters from the 501st UK Garrison.
Taking part over three days, guest to the resort will be able to join in the Star Wars themed days – So don’t forget your best Jedi outfits
As part of the celebrations, guest will be able to take part in a LEGO building extravigansa as they re-create a 80,5000 brick mosaic R2-D2 – voted by fans as their favourite character in the NEW Star Wars Gallery.
The days only get better as they will also be able to build a life-size LEGO model of Yoda and would-be Jedi.
If you are taking the children, kids can put their lightsaber skills to the test at the Jedi Training Camp, and even better a daily fancy dress competition will also be on where they could win LEGOLAND goodies.
The LEGO Star Wars gallery joins the miniland model display which features 3-foot high models of the most famous characters from Star Wars including: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and even Yoda – plus, of course, the fans’ favourite – R2-D2.
Prices for the intergalactic event will start from £78.75 per person and families will also be able to book packages from £315.
What’s not to love about this day out? We at UTCT are all ready testing buns for the hair and polishing up our Jedi training skills and the boss? well we are pretty sure their is a Darth Vader costume in the back somewhere.
