Lego are among the many companies ready to launch their range of toys and construction sets which will follow the launch of the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey later this year, and the two remaining films in the trilogy; The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: There and Back Again.
Angie Tutt, Brand Director at LEGO Group said: ‘Inevitably, there is already a lot of buzz surrounding the much-anticipated release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Lego Group is delighted to be part of the franchise.
The Lego the Lords of the Rings looking forward to bringing the legendary Middle-earth adventures of Bilbo Baggins and friends to life with new Lego the Hobbit construction sets which will allow children and adult fans alike to build and play in the fantasy world.’
The Vivid Group along with The Bidge Direct, plan to launch a range of mini collectible figures, adventure packs, and highly detailed collector figures along with role play products including a Sting Sword and a Dwarven Battle Axe.
Ravensburger also plan to release a range of 2D and 3D puzzles.
