It has been announced that Timothy Spall is to star in a four part series which will be aired on Sky 1 over Christmas.

Starring alongside actresses Keeley Hawes & Victoria Wood, Spall will have the title role in the four-part adaptation of the story of the green slime-covered creature “Fungus the Bogeyman” who lives underground and comes out from underground to scare humans.
The series is following on from the book which was released in 1977.
Spall is renowned for his television roles after several high profile roles including starring in Harry Potter as character Peter Pettigrew.
