Want to get sleek, shiny straight hair? Here are a few hints and tips that should help you get that straight hair look you’re after:
- First thing that you need to do before you start to straighten your hair, is to make sure that you have a heat protective spray for your hair, its not essential but it will protect your hair from getting damaged and it will help make it smooth and soft
- Try and wash your hair that day or the day before so that it is clean and will stay so for longer
- Towel-dry your hair. Try and get as much moisture out of your hair as possible if you have washed your hair that day
- Put your hair into its parting while it is wet as it will stay more naturally after it’s been dried and straightened
- Blow-dry your hair if it has been washed that day. Pulling the hair straight with a brush as you dry it will help keep it detangled and make less work for your hair straighteners later
- Put the top half of your hair up in a bun or a clip
- Divide the bottom half of your hair into small thin sections
- Straighten the first section of your hair, if it doesn’t straighten properly, go over it again with your straighteners
- Straighten the rest of your hair. Continue to go through all of the sections of your hair and straighten as you go
- When you’re finished take a look at your hair in the mirror and see the results
- If there is any areas your are not entirely happy with go over it again with the straighteners
- Put a small amount of hair shine through your hair to get give it shiny look but don’t put too much in as it could make your hair look greasy
