The new Slendertone Abs Female is the perfect way to tone up your abs as Slendertone Abs has been proven to give firmer and a flatter stomach in 4 weeks. UnderTheChristmasTree received this belt to see what was involved when using this product.
When you first get Slendertone through it comes in a white and purple box with a lid which you simply just lift off and you see the contents of the box. So whats in the box? You get the Slendertone belt, the intensity control, the pads, rechargeable and instructions.
To set up Slendertone you take the intensity control and the charger and connect them together and leave it charge up for 3 hours. Once this is done, you take the pads and place them on the slots allocated after taking off the plastic cover – which is basically like the plastic you would get on a mobile phone, the square one goes on the square slot and the two oval ones go on the other two spaces which are shown on the belt, you place each of these with the pattern side sticking to the belt and the black side goes on to your skin.
Then you put the intensity control and the slot on the belt together and then you are ready to put this onto your abs. You can even wear this under your clothes. The belt itself is soft and has a sponge like touch to it, so it was comfortable on your skin.
When you first put it on – its a bit of a shock as the pads are a bit cold! You need to make sure that the square pad is covering your belly button and then your ready to start your intensity control. Begin on level one and do that level for a few times and then you go up to level two etc – the amount of times you do each level can be found in the instructions manual. When you put on the intensity level you feel a tingling feeling when gets more intense the higher you increase the intensity. The intensity starts at 0 and goes up to 150.
There are 10 different programmes to get to:
Programmes 1 to 6: Evolved programmes from Initiation to Pro
Programme 7: Specific Strength
Programme 8: Endurance (can be used with a low cardio activity. E.g active walk or home bike)
Programme 9: Advanced Crunch (use the belt while doing lateral crunches)
Programme 10: Advanced Crunch (use the belt while doing lateral crunches)
This system also has built-in warm up and cool down phrases to ensure correct muscle usage. It is recommended that you use Slendertone Abs Female five times a week for four weeks to see results and once you have done this it is recommended that you use it three times a week to maintain the muscle tone and shape.
When your finished with the abs belt, you simply take off the pads and re-apply the plastic covers, putting the whole plastic sheet on the black side and placing the two halves of plastic on the patterned side on the pads. Unclip the intensity control, fold up the belt and place it all back in the box.
Overall, we were very impressed with the Slendertone Abs Female, it was very easy to set up and comfortable to wear. It was easy to increase the intensity and if it felt a little to strong, was easy to decrease. Putting it away was simple and it doesn’t take up very much room, so can be stored away easily.
