Toy Trust close to £100k target with bike ride fundraiser

163 riders prepare to hit the Isle of Wight for a biking challenge which has seen nearly 100k raised for charity.

With only less than 11 days to go until the Toy Trust Isle of Wight Big Kids Bike Ride have you sponsored your riders yet?

Aiming to hit its £100,000 target the event will see 163 riders from companies such as The Entertainer, Vtech, ITV, Hasbro, Vivid, Nickelodeon and more take to the peddle.

Taking place on June 8th, all the money raised will go to the Special Bikes for Special Kids charity, which provides custom-fitted trikes for profoundly disabled UK children.

Toy Trust committee member companies have also donated a large supply of toys and will be presented by Flair’s Peter Brown.

Nick Austin, event organizer said: The response from all areas of the toy trade to our fundraising campaign has been amazing, “However, we are still short of our £100k target so please, please sponsor today as many riders as you can for this fantastic cause”.
