VTech Announces New VTech Innotab 2S

An enhanced version of the VTech Innotab 2 has been released for pre-order in the US.

The new device is adopting naming which is established by Apple with the iPhone 3s and 4s devices. VTech has revealed a new version of the extremely popular kids tablet which will have several improvements.

The Innotab 2S currently has a price tag of under $100 and adds Wi-Fi, a rotatable camera, 2GB onboard memory with an expandable SD card slot.

The VTech 2S will also offer a variety of games, activities and onboard apps which will keep kids busy for hours. The tablet also has multimedia players so that children can listen to music and view video, while the art-studio app allows them to draw with their fingers or one of the two included styluses. Kids can even colour in the Innotab 2S’s virtual colouring book pages and can bring their pictures to life by tilting the tablet from side to side.

This new tablet is available to pre-order in the US but it is currently unknown if it will be available in the UK. As soon as we find out we will of course let you know.
