Leading Software as a Service parcel data management platform, NetDespatch, reveals the first Christmas present was returned at 1.53am on Christmas day, we ask was this you and how on earth did you miss Santa?!
For most of who were snuggled up in bed with our eyes tightly shut waiting for Santa to arrive it seems not only had he already delivered to the first few million houses he had also gave a present which someone didn’t want and arranged a very swift return to the north pole…Mrs Claus will not be merry!
According to Collect+ the first Christmas present was returned at 1.53am on Christmas Day, we wonder what the gift was that had to be returned so quickly – Santa’s old pair of smelly socks or one of granny’s finely picked wall art? either way how on earth did they not catch a glimpse of the big man himself?!
Netdespatch who is recognized as one of the top Cloud Computing providers in the UK, for shipping, tracking and systems integration platform for postal and parcel carriers worldwide including Amazon, Collect+ and Royal Mail also found that Post-Christmas parcels: (25th Dec – 1st Jan) had a year-on-year increase of almost 31% – it sounds as though even Santa was placing an order himself!
Were you tucked up in bed dreaming of sugar plum fairies at 1.53am on Christmas day or were you re-writing your Christmas letter to Santa telling him you are returning your gift?
