staying in the country this would be fab whenever we are out walking in the woods or just down the road such a fab item
I use jungle formula to prevent bites
I seem to be a very tasty treat for any summer bug – so I’ve equipped myself so far with the ankle and wrist bands to wear around to hopefully avoid the little dears attacking me – and also I take an anti-histamine everyday in the hope that it will detract them from biting me! This prize would save my life!
Citronella candles
mosquito repellent, citronella candles and anything else that may work because I’m always constantly bitten throughout the summer!
A dab of tea tree oil.
By being near, but not too near my Dad – he attracts them!
Would be using one of these, because they are brilliant, but gave it to my friend to take to Australia with her! So I’ll be covering up at mozzy time.
This year Im trying Vitamin B1
my Wife has a serious allergy to the smallest nip, she has to stay fully covered however hot, one of these may be just the thing!
Aftersun and combined insect repellant
I try to keep covered up, especially early evening when the bugs are out in force! And I keep the insect repellant handy!
I’m usually Mozzi food whenever I go on holiday could really use one of these in Madeira
Staying covered up, appropriate anti bug skin cream, and trying odourless garlic – I suffer badly and will try anything – last year in one day I ended up with 76 bites
Fly net on doors, and repellant when outside.
Hate flies!
I will be buying a ZAP-IT. Should I be lucky enough to win one as well that would be great. I could then keep one at home & one for when I go out.
living in Scotland is great the midge just love the taste of the new blood from over the border
Insects always seem to find my wife a tastier proposition, so I simply stand next to her and they bite her and leave me alone. Perfect natural solution to getting bitten!
Well given the chance i’d rather have one of those bite relief devices but i intend to go underground, when i can!No biters there!!!
Jungle Formula
I will be mostly smothered in vaseline.
I take a loratadine tablet every day and have calamine lotion to hand. The tablets usually prevent any itching so are well worth taking.
Long sleeves, hat and insect repellent.
insect repellent..x
I’ll use one of these when I win it!
We use insect repellant wristbands – they are a lifesaver for us
nice gadget
Avoiding using overly scented perfumes, Also lots of insect repellent and avoiding the late evenings, when the bugs are often out 🙂
This if I win.
Lots of insect repellant – not sure why but insects always go for me and ignore anyone I’m with….
If insects ever take over the world, I’m sure I will be their main course. After years of being bitten I’ve just had to go with insect repellant and fly nets on the windows.
We use Jungle formula at mo. bugs tend to be worse in evening
They always seem to love biting me so carry a zip it to stop bites itching and wear insect repellent bands while covering arms and legs in evening
Eat lots of garlic!
Eat lots of garlic.
Both myself and my husband suffer badly from bites and have already suffered our fair share this year. One of the best ways I find is to just cover up with light clothes, especially in the evening when the mossies are out. Failing that Anthisan works great and in an emergency, saliva works for a little bit. We used to use Jungle Formula but unfortunately that melts plastic as we found out to our cost last year when camping. We now have a messed up window on our tent 🙁
Insect repellant
I use citronella oil which seems to repel most of them and smells quite nice as well
i am loading up on vitimin B – that is meant to work apparently as i always am bitten to hell.
mosquito repellent and citronella candles in the evening
Citronella candles for me.
Avon Skin So Soft is a great bug repellent. Fabulous for your skin too 🙂
DEET – can’t stand being bitten!!
I have mosquito nets up at all of my doorways already to keep all flying bugs out of my house, and I burn citronella candles in the garden in the summer to keep bugs at bay 🙂 x
