I seem to be a very tasty treat for any summer bug – so I’ve equipped myself so far with the ankle and wrist bands to wear around to hopefully avoid the little dears attacking me – and also I take an anti-histamine everyday in the hope that it will detract them from biting me! This prize would save my life!

If insects ever take over the world, I’m sure I will be their main course. After years of being bitten I’ve just had to go with insect repellant and fly nets on the windows.

Both myself and my husband suffer badly from bites and have already suffered our fair share this year. One of the best ways I find is to just cover up with light clothes, especially in the evening when the mossies are out. Failing that Anthisan works great and in an emergency, saliva works for a little bit. We used to use Jungle Formula but unfortunately that melts plastic as we found out to our cost last year when camping. We now have a messed up window on our tent 🙁
