X Factor returns to ITV with new judging panel

Nothing says Christmas is on its way better than the return of X Factor to our TV screens, but when will that be and what does 2018 have in store for us?

Firstly there’s to be a new team and two of last year’s most popular judges will be noticeable by their absence. So say goodbye to last year’s judges Louis Walsh, who has appeared on the show since 2004 and Nicole Scherzinger who first joined the X-Factor in 2012.

Taking their place in the dream team are Robbie Williams, Louis Tomlinson (One Direction), Ayda Field (Robbie’s wife) and the inimitable Simon Cowell.

X-Factor is the biggest singing show on TV and this will be the 15th series. As yet a start date has not been announced but it’s expected that it will return on either Saturday 25th August 2018 or Saturday 1st September, 2018. Does this mean we can look forward to more of Dermot O’Leary’s dance moves?

Thankfully Sharon will return for this season, albeit in a small capacity. It is rumoured that the 65-year-old will keep her full X Factor wage of £2 million, but it is thought that she will skip the auditions and just appear on the live finals.

We just can’t wait for X-factor to come back on our screens.  Are you a fan of Xfactor or would you give it a big heave ho No?
