Strictly Come Dancing 2025: Full Line-Up Revealed – Updating

The glitterball is back! BBC has unveiled the sparkling Strictly Come Dancing 2025 line-up – meet the celebrities (so far) ready to cha-cha.

As autumn approaches, the kids will soon head back to school, and we’ll be swapping t-shirts for cosy cardigans.

Before we know it, Christmas will be on our doorstep. However, Strictly fans already have something to celebrate, because the BBC has just revealed the first celebrities confirmed for the 2025 line-up.

Which celebrities are taking part in the 2025 BBC Strictly Come Dancing series?

Olympian and Gladiator star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey – better known as Nitro – is the first celebrity confirmed for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. Fans will remember seeing him light up the floor in last year’s Christmas special, and it seems it was so good the first time, he couldn’t resist another spin!

On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey says: “After the Christmas Special, it was so nice I just had to do it twice! I’m so excited to be part of the Strictly family this series and I’m ready to give it all I’ve got. I’ll be bringing tons of energy to light up the dance floor. Let’s hope I’m as quick picking up the routines as I am on the track.”

Dani Dyer is the second celebrity taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. Dani Dyer says: “Getting the opportunity to be on Strictly is the second most amazing thing I’ve done this year! I feel very very blessed and cannot wait to get my dancing shoes on 💞”

Doctor Who and ER star Alex Kingston has been announced as the next star announced. Alex Kingston says: ”Aaaaagghhh!!!!!!

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is the next celebrity! Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says: “Swapping the pitch for the ballroom is certainly not something I’ve done before but I’m looking forward to tackling a fun challenge! Bring on a new type of footwork, with hopefully no own goals.”

Balvinder Sopal is next up to join! Balvinder Sopalsays: “Being on Strictly is a dream that I held on to, with no proof that it would ever happen. Working on EastEnders and being a part of Strictly Come Dancing is the stuff that dreams are made of. I’m far too excited to put into words how I feel but I’m incredibly excited at the prospect of dancing across the ballroom!”

YouTuber George Clarke is the next celeb contestant to be announced. George Clarke said: “Never thought I’d say this… but I’m doing Strictly! Honestly, I’ve got no idea what I’m doing but I’m excited to get stuck in… and potentially fall over a fair bit.”

La Voix is the seventh celebrity taking part in the new series. La Voix said; “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul and Simon Cowell, but nothing fills me with more excitement (and quite a bit of terror) than the thought of dancing in front of millions on live Saturday night TV. Strictly is a national institution and I can’t wait to get started. All that’s left to say is: good luck to my partner! Here’s hoping they can help me go from La Voix into La Danse.”

Former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw is next up! Chris Ronshaw said: “This is about as far out of my comfort zone as it gets! I’m hoping to take my dad dancing to a whole new level, and my mum can’t wait to drag me along to her Zumba class. Let’s see if a rugby sidestep works in the Cha Cha Cha.”

Ellie Goldstein is the ninth celebrity joining the new series. Ellie said: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be joining the cast and pros of Strictly Come Dancing this year. It’s a show I’ve loved watching for so long, and the chance to now be part of it feels like a dream. I know it’s going to be challenging, but I’m ready to do it with the glitter and glamour and make some magic on that dancefloor. Let the Strictly journey begin!”

A proud Romford native and self-declared “grafter,” Thomas built his career on market stalls and now heads up several thriving businesses, from mattress sales to a local gym, proving that hustle and heart go a long way.

On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Thomas Skinner says: “I’m beyond excited to be joining Strictly Come Dancing. I’ve tackled the boardroom and some big breakfasts in my time but stepping onto the dance floor under that glitter ball is next level stuff!  I’ve never danced in my life (other than at weddings) but I’m ready to graft and of course have a laugh. Bring on the sequins, sambas and most importantly, the BOSH to the ballroom!”

The glitterball spotlight just got brighter—Vicky Pattison is officially stepping onto the Strictly dancefloor as the eleventh celebrity confirmed for the upcoming series. The beloved BBC Studios production returns this September on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, promising another season of sequins, sambas, and show-stopping performances.

Vicky Pattison first captured the public’s affection when she was crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! back in 2015. Since then, she’s built a dynamic career as a presenter, author, and podcast and radio host. Her on-screen presence spans major UK networks including MTV, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, and TLC—making her one of the most recognisable faces in British entertainment.

On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Vicky Pattison said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be part of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing lineup… but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified. I am a not a natural dancer! However, it’s such an amazing opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and to challenge myself in a completely new way and I just really hope I don’t make too much of a fool of myself!

Australian soap icon Stefan Dennis has officially joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing 2025, becoming the twelfth celebrity confirmed for the glittering new series. Best known for his legendary role as Paul Robinson in Neighbours, Dennis first appeared on Ramsay Street in 1985 and went on to star in over 6,000 episodes across four decades. Before his long-running stint on Neighbours, Dennis built a solid career in Australian television, with standout roles in Prisoner, The Sullivans, Young Doctors, and Sons and Daughters. He’s also no stranger to British screens, having appeared in River City, Casualty, and the West End musical Blood Brothers.

On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Stefan Dennis says: “This is an opportunity for me to once again learn to step out of my comfort zone in the world of television. Looking forward to the sparkle and reaching for the sky.”
