Christmas Gift Review: Jurlique 24 Day Advent Calendar

There’s something exciting and special about opening up an advent calendar each day through December and getting a gift, so we were excited to try out Jurlique’s 24 Day Advent Calendar which we were kindly sent.

Firstly, I did like the design, it had a nice design but it wasn’t overly festive which gives a modern feel. Inside the advent calendar, there are 24 boxes to open which you can easily pull out and put back in which is a great way to store all of the treats you can reuse the following year and each box has a few words of encouragement on the side.

Behind each door, there is a miniature Jurlique surprise from skincare to beauty and features farm-grown botanicals that have been cultivated in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. I won’t say what is behind every door as I don’t want to ruin the surprise so I name a few of my favourites.

First up was the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist which was 15ml. I sprayed a small amount onto my face and I have to say my skin instantly felt hydrated and did have a glow. The scent was not overpowering and it didn’t feel like I had any product on my face which is great as I really don’t like that greasy feeling that some mists can give and a little went a long way.

Next up I tried the Nutri-Define Supreme Eye Contour Balm which was 5ml and I have to say this really did help reduce the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. Again I didn’t need to use a lot of the product and it had a really nice texture to it.

Finally, I gave the reusable cleansing pads a try, there were 3 inside a mesh bag which is a great way to store these. The pads are square and are nice and soft to hold in your hand and I was impressed with these as I put some cleaning product on the pad and began using them my skin felt nice and clean and I really liked the fact that these could be washed and re-used which is a great way to try and be more sustainable.

Overall I really liked the Jurlique 24 Day Advent Calendar, it was modern, sustainable, and packed full of great Julique products, each of which I would buy again and again. Perfect to countdown to the big day!”
