Aardman, the World-leading animation studio behind the upcoming idents has collaborated with BBC Creative to air three utterly festive scenes which star everyone’s favourite animated character – Shaun the Sheep.

Based around a Christmas tree at different times of the day; morning, evening and night, the scenes star some favourites from Shaun the Sheep including Bitzer, The Farmer and the Flock and incorporate some of the slapstick humour that the series is famous for.

Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas

Charlotte Moore, Chief Content Officer, BBC, says: “Nothing brings audiences together like Christmas on the BBC, and the star of this year’s BBC’s Christmas idents is also at the heart of our festive family offer, everyone’s favourite animated animal Shaun the Sheep.”

BBC One’s festive idents will be unveiled to the nation on Saturday 4th December.

Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas, will air on BBC One this Christmas as part of the BBC’s Christmas schedule.
