What Happened to Clinton’s Cards?
Clinton Cards entered administration in May 2012 after its main supplier called in £36 million of debt, resulting in the closure of 350 branches.
It went through administration again in 2019, and in 2023, closed a further 38 stores after an insolvency court approved a restructuring plan.
Who Owns Clinton’s Cards 2026?
In March 2024, Clintons was acquired by Cardzone owner Pillarbox Designs, a family-run business that also operates Cardzone, Hallmark and Yankee Candle stores across the UK.
Clinton’s Cards 2026 – Is It Back in Profit?
The good news is yes. From what we can see, Clintons finished its most recent financial year with 163 stores nationwide and returned to a pre-tax profit of £8m.
