There’s nothing more exciting than getting an advent calendar to countdown to the big day and get different treats throughout December. We were kindly sent Arran Sense of Scotland’s new advent calendar, here’s what Mandy from our team thought.
Mandy said: “I absolutely love trying out new advent calendars, and couldn’t wait to give Arran Sense of Scotlands Winter Nights a try. First I really liked the packaging, it was blue and had a beautiful stag on the front with a winter sky scene and when opening the advent calendar, had the same theme on the inside with each window clearly marked with numbers which went up to 25 so there was one for each day of December.

I won’t state what was behind each door as I don’t want to ruin the surprise for anyone who wants to keep these a mystery until December so I will highlight some of my favourite products that I found. First was After the Rain Shampoo which was a 50ml bottle and was absolutely lovely, the scent isn’t overpowering and just left my hair feeling, soft, shiny, and of course, clean.
I then opened another window and behind this one had a zesty scent to it and when I used it left my skin feeling energized and fresh and again not overpowering. Up next was Glen Rosa which was 15ml and had a lovely sweet scent but had some floral notes as well which was a really nice balance, when spraying this, it didn’t feel sticky on my skin and felt like it lasted quite a while before I needed to apply some more.
Overall I was really impressed with Arran Sense of Scotland’s Winter Nights advent calendar for 2023, it was packed full of different treats and the advent calendar itself had a beautiful design, the perfect way to countdown to Christmas!”
