You won’t have to wait until next year for Two Doors Down to arrive on your TV screens as BBC Two announces a Christmas special for this year.
Get ready for more laughs this Christmas.
Award-winning Scottish comedy series – Two Doors Down will be back this December with a Christmas special. Filmed in line with Covid-19 industry guidelines, the show will take a side-step from the current pandemic to focus on laughs.
The last time Two Doors Down was on our screens at Christmas was back in 2018, and a new full series is to air next year. Fans of the who may be slightly disappointed as Graeme ‘Grado’ Stevely and Joy McAvoy, who play young couple Alan and Michelle, will not feature in the Christmas special but will be back next year for the fifth season.
Steven Canny, Executive Producer at BBC Studios Comedy which makes the series in Scotland, says: “I’m delighted that Two Doors Down is going to give people the neighbourly get-together they have been missing out on in recent times. Eric, Beth, Colin, Cathy, Ian, Gordon and, of course, Christine get together to celebrate in the way that only they can. This special episode is the complete package of uncomfortable comments, barbed compliments and, of course, a ton of laughs.”
We’re looking forward to a good laugh this Christmas!
