Hi Susie, working in design, one of the biggest events of the year must be Christmas. Do you like to change your festive style each year?

I believe that Christmas is all about tradition. I treasure those extra special seasonal pieces, bringing them out year after year to use and enjoy.

In your opinion, why do you think furnishings have such an impact on our overall Christmas experience?

During the festive season, we spend so much of our time indoors with friends and family, so furnishings become even more important. With a clever mix of pattern, colour and texture, we can create a warm and welcoming home for all to enjoy.

What is one decoration your Christmas wouldn’t be complete without?

Putting up the decorations is when I really start to get excited about Christmas. I love to combine foliage with our jewel coloured baubles on ribbons for an eye-catching adornment to windows, beams or even up the stairs.

When designing your Christmas collection, what were the key pieces you had in mind?

Decorations that make the house feel bright and festive, and designing attractive pieces for the Christmas tree. We make use of our normal materials – Glass, ceramic and cottons

What is your favourite part of Christmas?

When everyone arrives, and the house is ready.

What is your favourite Christmas memory?

Nothing stands out – It’s always a lovely family occasion.

What is your top tip for creating a cosy Christmas?

Lighting! As many candles as possible and no ceiling lights. A twinkling tree and clusters of brightly coloured baubles.
