ITV has announced that Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win will return for a second series, but will there be a Christmas special?

UPDATE: We can confirm that there will be a Christmas special of Limitless! Here’s what the stars of the show had to say:
Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win has been recommissioned by ITV Head of Entertainment Commissioning Katie Rawcliffe and Commissioning Editor Kevin O’Brien. The international format rights are distributed by Banijay.
Dec says: “We got a lot of feedback after the first series with people saying, ‘This is really tense! It’s hard to watch, it’s nerve-shredding!’ and this year it’s even more so. Sorry guys! We get higher up the ladder and more often. Contestants are nervous and stressed…they’re playing for very, very big sums of money. It’s really nerve-wracking. Very, very tense at times with a lot of jeopardy, but God it’s really
watchable!”
Ant says: “The great thing about this show is that everybody can have a go at the answers because the answer to every question is a number. You can be shouting your answers to the TV and the whole family can have a go and see who does best. You don’t need to be the
brain of Britain to get involved.”
ITV Head of Entertainment Commissioning Katie Rawcliffe says: “It is great to be back on air with Limitless Win. Ant and Dec are fabulous at taking you with them on this edge-of-your-seat series. I can’t wait to watch.”
Commissioning Editor Kevin O’Brien says: “I’m thrilled Ant and Dec are back with more Limitless Win. With an unlimited jackpot on the line, the pressure is raised to the max and you can’t help but join in. I’m excited to see some famous faces give it a go, too. I hope they have steady nerves!”
ITV have yet to confirm if there will be a festive edition of the show but one thing we do know is there will be a second series of the entertainment quiz show.
Fronted by the nation’s favourite double act And & Dec, the show has become a favourite with viewers when it launched on ITV and ITV Hub earlier this year, drawing in a massive 6.1 million viewers for its launch episode.
Ant McPartlin said:
“We are thrilled that Limitless Win has been a hit with the viewers and is coming back for more. We’re beyond excited to be able do it all over again and we can’t wait to find new contestants to play the first TV show with a limitless jackpot!”
Declan Donnelly said:
“We’re already preparing ourselves for another series of nail-biting drama, jeopardy and tension as we present more questions you can’t help but Google! We’re expecting more, and higher, dizzying climbs up the Limitless money ladder. We can’t wait.”
We hope there will be a Christmas special of Limitless Win and as soon as any confirmation of a festive edition is announced, we will update here.
BBC also announced Wallace & Gromit will return for Christmas 2024 and Netflix confirmed Pinocchio will be released this Christmas.
