On the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Zoe Ball invited guests Ruth Jones and James Corden, who shared the exciting news with the nation: they will be hosting BBC Radio 2 Breakfast: A Gavin and Stacey Takeover live on Monday, December 23, from 6:30 to 9:30 am.
James and Ruth will be joined by several of their co-stars from the iconic series, including Joanna Page, Mat Horne, Rob Brydon, Alison Steadman, Larry Lamb, and Rob Wilfort, in anticipation of the highly anticipated final episode, which will air on BBC One and iPlayer on Christmas Day at 9 pm.
For three fun-filled hours in the Radio 2 studio, James and Ruth will keep listeners entertained with exclusive behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the upcoming series finale. They’ll reminisce about memorable moments from the show over the years, discuss their favourite Christmas traditions, and play an exciting mix of festive tunes to set the mood. Alison will share the songs that have accompanied her remarkable journey through life, both on stage and on screen.
BBC also confirmed Rylan will be meeting Mariah Carey to discuss her incredible career and the 30th anniversary of the iconic ‘All I Want For Christmas’ song.
