Christmas McCausland and Lee Mack join a star-studded cast for Sky Original Christmas Special – Bad Tidings, here’s everything we know…
April has just kicked in, but with this weather, you’d think it was still Winter so if you’re looking for something to brighten up your day, we’ve got it.
Prepare yourselves for a bellyful of laughs this holiday season as the hilarious duo Chris McCausland and Lee Mack ) team up in Sky Original’s ‘Bad Tidings’.
The mischievous special revolves around grumpy home-security expert Neil (Mack) and his neighbour Scott (McCausland), who insists on keeping his Christmas lights illuminated all year round.
Joining Chris and Lee are Rebekah Staton, Sarah Alexander, Ben Crompton, Emily Coates, Josiah Eloi, Millie Kiss, Tupele Dorgu, Sunil Patel, Susan Kyd and Donna Preston.
Chris McCausland said: “Talk about a back of an envelope idea that has got out of hand, we are now making a Christmas comedy film and it’s going to be awesome. I can’t wait to get up to some hilarious mayhem with Lee and bring some festive spirit into people’s living rooms this Christmas!”
Lee Mack added: “I love Chris McCausland, I love the script and I Iove Christmas. Where do I sign?”
‘Bad Tidings’ continues Sky’s festive hits, loved by customers, starring British talents. Last year’s ‘The Heist Before Christmas’ with James Nesbitt, Timothy Spall, and Laura Donnelly was Sky’s top-rated Original in 2023. It followed ‘Christmas Carole’ (2022) with Suranne Jones and ‘The Amazing Mr. Blunden’ (2021) with Simon Callow, Tamsin Greig, and Mark Gatiss.
This is not the first Christmas special for Mack as earlier this year The 1% Club announced two more series AND a Christmas special, roll on for more festive specials soon.
