UPDATE: The celebrities taking part in this year’s festive edition of the show have been announced, Anne-Marie, Moria Stuart, Jay Blades, Fred Sirieix, Mel Giedroyc & Adrian Chiles.

One of the highlights on the Christmas TV calendar each year for Strictly Come Dancing fans is the Christmas special and this year is no different as the BBC has just announced which celebrities are putting on thier dancing shoes.

So far, we’ve now had three contestants confirmed for the 2021 show. The first three celebrities taking part are: Jade Blades, Fred Sirieix and Mel Giedroyc.

Further stars taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2021 will be revealed shortly.

Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.
