From Home Alone, Elf to DIE HARD hitting the top 10 spots, discover which Christmas movie was the favourite among us Brits…
Christmas has fully arrived and that means getting the tree up and decorated, switching your morning cuppa to a hot chocolate and of course kicking back and watching a festive flick.
A recent survey by Currys.co.uk asked 2000 British residents about their Christmas Eve traditions, and the majority (37%) said they spend the evening watching Christmas movies but which ones?…
Well, it will come as no surprise but Home Alone took the top spot with 21% loving the 1990’s classic which saw the 8-year-old Kevin McAllister defend his home against the wet bandits using inventive, and eye-watering, booby traps.
Second place was everyone’s favourite Elf – Buddy the Elf with 19% of Brits choosing this one – “Son of a nutcracker!”
Supsiringly and gave us a moment of pause in the office hitting the top 10 spot was none other than DIE HARD! – is it a Christmas movie isn’t it – we’ll debate that another day.
