WATCH: Christmas Recipe – How to Make Winter Coleslaw

Winter is a time for homemade comfort food and everything that tastes incredibly good, but tends to be a little bit bad for us.  This is why we have combined what we love and what we need to create a Winter Coleslaw that’s not only full of goodness, but also full of taste making it the perfect side dish to any Christmas meal.

Shop ingredients: TESCO

What you will need:

  • 1/3 Purple Cabbage
  • 1/3 Green Cabbage
  • 1/3 Red Onion
  • 1/2 Green Pepper
  • 1/2 Red Pepper
  • 4 Carrots
  • Garlic
  • Mayonnaise
  • Creme Fraiche
  • Mustard
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Mixed Herbs

How to make:

  • Chop both colours of cabbage into thin strips
  • Add 3 Heaped Tablespoons Mayonnaise to bowl
  • Add 2 Heaped Tablespoons Creme Fraiche to bowl
  • Add 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • Add some sweet chilli sauce. Combine mixture.
  • Crush & add Garlic
  • Add Cabbage and combine
  • Grate Carrots & combine
  • Dice peppers & combine
  • Chop onion & Combine
  • Add more mayonnaise if desired.
  • Top with mixed herbs

Winter Coleslaw Ingredients

Total time to create this masterpiece is 10-15 minutes. No cooking is involved (Hurrah!) and it’s impossible to get it wrong. Most importantly, this is delicious, full of goodness and the perfect party food to add to any table this Christmas.
