The Brockmans are back! Created and directed by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, this special picks up with the Brockman family as they navigate the upheaval of living in a smaller home. Pete and Sue must face the complexities of parenting grown-up children, each with their own separate lives to manage.

The original beloved cast is returning for this festive episode, featuring Hugh Dennis as Pete, Claire Skinner as Sue, Tyger Drew-Honey as their eldest son Jake, Daniel Roche as middle child Ben, and Ramona Marquez as their daughter Karen.

In a moment of difficulty, Sue and Pete attempt to bring the family (including one grandchild) together for a traditional Christmas celebration while also delivering some unwelcome news. However, their plans are thrown off course by fate, unexpected neighbours, hyenas, and bus replacement services.

The BBC is planning a bumper 2024 Christmas for us TV fans, already Call The Midwife Christmas special has been confirmed and of course, fan-favourite Gavin and Stacey will also return for a one-off and final Xmas special and now comedy series Outnumbered has also been announced for a one-off festive show.

After eight years away, The Brockmans are back and as fans will expect it’s going to be as chaotic as ever!

Returning for a one-off 40-minute Christmas special, the whole gang is back and will follow the chaos in the downsized home of Pete and Sue Brockman, as they grapple with the challenges of parenting kids who are now adults, with their own lives to lead.

Gathering all their offspring (including a grandchild) to try and celebrate a “traditional” family Christmas but it wouldn’t be Outnumbered if chaos wasn’t ensued.

With fate, neighbours, hyenas and bus replacement services getting in their way, could Christmas be a disaster? we can’t wait to watch.
