Taking to social media, James Corden and Ruth Jones confirmed the exciting news that fans were waiting for that a final ever episode of the hugely popular Gavin and Stacey is in the works and it will air on Christmas Day on BBC One.
James Corden and Ruth Jones say: “Some news… It’s official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James ❤️”
The show last had a Christmas special aired on Christmas day in 2019 and saw more than 18 million viewers tune in to see what their favourite characters had been up to.
