Nick Knowles returns as BBC confirms DIY SOS is back with 4 new episodes—including a festive build with special guests! Here’s what we know so far…

OK, it’s official—summer’s packed its bags and autumn has strutted in with crunchy leaves and cosy vibes. That means one thing: we’re inching closer to Christmas!
Cue the fairy lights, festive specials, and yes, the annual debate over when to put up the tree.
Our planners are already bursting with must-watch shows like Gladiators, Stuffed!, and For Dogs’ Sake (we’re emotionally preparing for that one). And now, BBC has us grinning like elves—DIY SOS is back, with four new episodes including a festive build!
DIY SOS is back with four powerful new episodes, plus a Children in Need special and a festive build featuring the BBC’s Gladiators. Expect heart, grit, and teamwork as the crew transforms lives across the UK.

From creating a safe haven for Isla, who lives with a rare genetic condition, to supporting the Scott family after tragedy, and tackling two ambitious builds in Bracknell and Swansea—this series is packed with emotion, impact, and unforgettable moments.
Alongside the purple shirt regulars – electrician Billy Byrne and plasterer Chris Frediani – the team welcomes fresh faces this series: woodworker Radha Siyver and gardener Ashley Edwards, who bring new skills and ideas to the DIY SOS family.

Nick Knowles, DIY SOS Presenter, says: “I’m so excited to have DIY SOS back on our screens – I think it will remind people how many good, generous people there are across the country willing to help out others in their time of need. We also share much more of what it takes physically and emotionally to fulfil the promises we make to families and communities with our huge builds. Still emotional and fun as it always has been, there’s faces old and new on the team and the usual cast of thousands.”
