Just like Poe Dameron said – “We’re gonna do this…” – exactly what Mandy and John from our team said when both Ravensburger puzzles landed..sorry…flew from another galaxy onto their desks.
Scenes from the movie are placed on each set of the puzzle’s to show you exactly what you’ll be creating – this got both Mandy and John talking about favourite parts of the movie, this went on for a long time! Starting with the 1000 piece, which is split into two designs showing both sides of the force, you will see many old and new faces including Poe, Chewbacca, new droids and more. Placing on one of our work tables John started on the puzzle – we did notice he came quite possessive but he did lift his head long enough to let us know the pieces were sturdy and easy to click into place.
Taking him most of the day to complete, the overall size was about the size of a large picture frame, John was pleased that the image held true to the photo.
Mandy who wasn’t as clingy as John gave the 300 piece Storm Trooper Empire a go, placing on her desk she got started however after ten or so minutes she got stuck – Elaine suggested she use the force however Mandy quickly corrected her and said: “That’s not how the Force works!” – too much Han Solo time on her hands we think however after a little help the puzzles was coming together nicely. Once competed the First Order’s army in battle was completed, Mandy felt the pieces were a great size, easy to pick up and if you love Star Wars you’ll likely want to buy more from the series.
