Festive TV Dreams: Shows We’re Hoping Get a Christmas Special!

TV shows are rolling in from the new Bullseye to Celebrity Sabotage, but here are the ones we’re crossing our fingers for a Christmas special this 2025.

We LOVE winter TV, especially when all the Christmas specials drop! Last year, we had a cracker of a line-up, from Gavin & Stacey to Wheel of Fortune, making the festive season extra special.

Now that the new year has hit and those Christmas specials have wrapped up (though you can still catch up on BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and other streaming services), we can’t help but look ahead.

With new shows being announced and returning favourites on the horizon, we’re already crossing our fingers for another round of festive specials.

So, with that in mind, we’ve rounded up a list of returning shows we know are coming back— and fingers crossed, they’ll bring us some festive specials too!

The Finish Line Christmas Special?

Back again this year is Roman Kemp’s The Finish Line, where contestants race through a series of qualifiers and head-to-head battles, all for the chance to win a cash prize. The goal? Simple—get to the finish line before your rivals! With a thrilling mix of knowledge and speed, every game is packed with tension, nail-biting finishes, and edge-of-your-seat action. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of returning shows we know are coming back— and fingers crossed, they’ll bring us some festive specials too!

Gladiators 2025 Christmas Special?

Last year, Gladiators gave us an epic Christmas special featuring Rob Beckett and Joel Dommett, bringing festive fun and fierce competition! With the show making a big comeback, we’re hoping for another holiday showdown in 2025 with Bradley and Barney!

Bullesye Christmas Special?

Bullseye made a thrilling comeback last Christmas, with the legendary darts-themed game show bringing all the fun and nostalgia! The festive special, hosted by Freddie Flintoff, was packed with high-stakes action, big laughs, and, of course, plenty of darts drama. Here’s hoping we get another round of festive Bullseye magic.

Celebrity Sabotage Christmas special?

Celebrity Sabotage hasn’t aired yet, but with Ant and Dec behind it, we just know it’s going to be a cracker! This high-stakes reality show is packed with wild challenges, shocking twists, and sneaky celeb saboteurs secretly pulling the strings and we’d LOVE for this to get a Christmas episode.

Through The Keyhole Fetsive Special?

Through the Keyhole hasn’t aired on ITV yet, but it already sounds like a hilarious must-watch! Each episode takes us inside a mystery celeb’s home, with plenty of quirky clues to throw the panel off track. Will they guess correctly, or will the big reveal leave them stunned? We can’t wait to see the chaos unfold—and fingers crossed for a festive special packed with tinsel, surprises, and celebrity Christmas cheer!

Outrageous Homes Christmas Show?

Channel 4’s Outrageous Homes with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is set to be a dazzling, design-filled delight! With his signature flair and love for the extravagant, Laurence takes us inside some of the most over-the-top homes in the country. Expect jaw-dropping interiors, bold makeovers, and plenty of personality. And with his love for all things festive, a Christmas special is surely in the works!

Britain’s Seceret Genius – Celebrity Christmas Special?

Channel 4’s Britain’s Secret Genius is set to put the nation’s brainpower to the test, with Alan Carr and Susie Dent leading the charge! A celebrity episode in December would be amazing.

Now although we are speculation but we’re sure that some of these if not all are likely to get Christmas TV specials in 2025! Once we have confirmed shows we’ll keep you our fetsive friends posted!
