How To Make Christmas Tree Chips

These Christmas tree chips are a quick, fun and festive snack that looks brilliant on a party table and takes just minutes to make. They’re light, crispy and perfect for grazing boards, buffets or a cosy Christmas movie night. If you’re planning easy festive nibbles, take a look at our Christmas Snacks guide.

To make them, take a few tortilla wraps and press out Christmas tree shapes using a cutter. Lay the trees on a lined baking tray, spray lightly with oil and season with salt, pepper and a pinch of paprika or mixed herbs. Bake in a hot oven at 180°C (fan) for around 6–8 minutes until they turn golden and crisp.

You can also make these in the air fryer — they only need around 5–6 minutes at 180°C. For a cheesy version, sprinkle over grated cheddar before baking. For something sweeter, brush with melted butter and dust with cinnamon sugar. They’re great for dipping, adding to grazing boards or serving alongside other festive bites from our Christmas Party Food hub.

If you want to stock up on tools, a Christmas tree‑shaped cutter, baking tray, or oil spray are handy to have — all easy to find on Amazon UK.

These are brilliant for kids, quick to batch‑make and a fun way to add a festive touch to any table. For more seasonal treats and bakes, explore our Christmas Baking ideas.
