Aldi’s has teased its brand new 2021 Christmas advert starring a brand new character – Ebanana Scrooge, but Kevin is nowhere to be seen…

We’re already obsessed!

You’re not going to be able to peel your eyes away from Aldi’s new teaser which introduces a new (in our eyes) loveable character – Ebanana Scrooge.

Jim Broadbent is back again narrating Aldi’s Christmas advert where the new 20-second clip, shows a child Ebanana patiently waiting for Santa, cuddled up next to a mince pie in front of a roaring log fire on Christmas Eve.

A mystery hand then appears and takes the mince pie, leaving the banana behind – at which the upset Ebanana cries, ‘Santa, wait…why didn’t he take me?’

As the festive tale fades, Ebanana jumps up and angrily declares, ‘I hate Christmas…’ but what happens next? and where is Kevin the Carrot? so many questions need answering.

The full ad will be revealed across national TV and online on Thursday 11^th November and we’re already calling that this will be the best advert yet!
