Yorkshire Puddings are more loved than ice cream and crisps!

Whether they belong on the Christmas dinner table or not, new research shows, that we Brits love Yorkshire Puddings more than some surprising favourites.

Now we don’t want to start the debate of ‘Do you have Yorkshire Puds as part of your Christmas day dinner?’ (the answer is always yes btw!) but it seems as though here in the UK we love nothing more than tucking into a big old pud.

According to new research by UK supermarket Tesco, Yorkshire puddings have stolen the hearts (and stomachs!) of Brits, outshining crisps (37%), ice cream, pizza, and cheese in popularity!

It was revealed that nearly two-fifths of adults indulge in Yorkshire Puddings at least once a month, with 15% making them a weekly treat. The younger crowd, especially those aged 18-24, are leading the charge, with 25% munching on them weekly and getting creative with various styles.

When it comes to how and what we eat them with you’ll be very surprised to know that Tesco found jam takes the crown as the top choice (7%), with baked beans, ketchup, and mustard hot on its heels (each at 6%)… yeah we’re not too sure about those!
