According to a Great British Breakfast Survey 2019 from Leonardo Hotels, our classic fry up is still the nations favourite, closely followed in second place by cereal. It would appear that poached eggs are well down the list coming in at just 18th place.

What is it that makes the full English so popular? Apparently, in order to enjoy the perfect fry up 62% of us Brits must have toast, followed by a fried egg, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms.

What would you think our favourite breakfast drink would be – tea? coffee? Not according to this survey as fruit juice was voted the UK’s favourite breakfast drink followed by tea, white coffee and cappuccino. We don’t know about you but we do love a cuppa tea or coffee with our Christmas morning fry up!

Will you still leave Santa his glass of milk and a cookie or do you think he would prefer to find a fruit juice and a bowl of cereal waiting for him?
