Chris Rea is “Driving To Glasgow” For Christmas, and he can’t wait to see those faces!

Chris Rea is set to play at the Clyde Auditorium on December 4th 2014 and is set to perform some of this well known songs including of course the hit single ‘Driving Home For Christmas’.
The hit song was released in 1988 and wasn’t such a hit when it was first released, in fact it was the exact opposite as it peaked at #53 in the charts at that time. The single re-entered the charts at #33 in 2007 – again not reaching that number one or even top 10 spot.
This may come as a surprise to you, as it does to us, because we regularly listen to the song over Christmas and it has become one of those songs that is played regularly on the radio over the festive season.
