Trudy Hendy from Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm, which is based at Middle Hill Farm in Langford Budville, Somerset, said: “A very popular trend for Christmas decorations this year will be felhouseted animals. You’ll see a huge range including mice, foxes, hedgehogs, squirrels and pigs.

“When we visited the Spring Fair at the NEC in early February, which is a home and gift trade show that showcases next Christmas’ products, there were lots of these on display plus stunning natural garlands made from pine cones and berries. Gnomes are still in season for Christmas 2020, but mice are now taking over.
