Fans of the period drama, Downton Abbey, are already counting down the days until season 5 is aired on our television screens this Autumn. However, when new images of the Christmas special were released we were even more excited than Mrs Pattmore when a feast has to be prepared.
Transforming Horsted Keynes railway station back to the roaring twenties, two actresses were spotted laughing and joking on the set with the train conducter – we wonder if someone is either making a christmas getaway or expecting a new arrival? Either way it will be full steam ahead.

With some new faces on the show including Richard E. Grant, who will play Simon Bricker, an art historian who is a house guest of the Crawley family, the festive episodes should bring glitz, glamour and lots of gossip.
