US toy maker Jakks pacific has entered into a agreement with LA-based tech company NantWorks to announce new DreamPlay toys venture.
Bringing physical toys and video content together, Jakks will launch their new range of products at the Los Angeles Toy Fair in November and at the Consumers Electronics show in 2013.
Jakks are to develop, market and sell toys under the NantWorks iDream app, where users will be able to point a dreamplay toy or image at a smartphone or tablet to bring the toy to life – now that sounds cool!
Live animation, videos, 3D objects and more offers children new interactive play possibilities and will keep the whole family entertained.
