Pop star Jennifer Lopez has confirmed she has been working on some Christmas songs but has stated she is unsure of whether she will release them for Christmas 2014 or not.
Jennifer has two children – Max & Emme and so it’s likely that the starlet is a big fan of Christmas and celebrating with her family.
Are you ready to add a little J.Lo to your Christmas 2014 listening, as Jennifer ‘Jenny from the Block’ Lopez confirms she’s working on a Christmas album with ‘quite good’ (her words-not ours!) 16 Grammy award winning songwriter and composer David Foster.
According to the diva herself, she’s been thinking about doing one for a while now but just hasn’t had the time etc, but thinks she might be able to focus on it soon – does that mean 2014?
Possible original titles from the upcoming (?) Christmas album may include: “I Luh Ya Papa Noel,” “Sleigh Girl,” “Santa From The Pole,” “(Can’t Believe) This Is Christmas” and “Waiting For Tonight.”
Talking about the Christmas music, Lopez said;-
“David Foster and I sat down and talked about this over six, seven, eight months ago and we sat down and we just started singing, and then he came back to me and was like, ‘Hey, look what I did.’ He’s such an amazing producer. It’s crazy. Then he played me from just little vocals that I was doing there with him with the piano, almost fully-produced Christmas songs.”
She continued by saying;-
“I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ He’s like, ‘We have to finish this album.’ I was like, ‘We have to do this album.’ And so we’ve been talking about it. Actually I just saw him yesterday, so I’m hoping to do it. I don’t know if it’ll be for this year or next year, but I would love to.”
You all know we love Christmas gossip and most of all Christmas music, so this news is literally ‘music’ to our ears!
Will J.Lo become the latest music star to record a Christmas album?
