Tickets have gone on sale for Longleat’s all-new outdoor Christmas spectacular ‘The Wondrous Worlds of Roald Dahl’.
Launching on November 5th and running on selected dates throughout the festive season until January 8th, this year’s fantastical festival is the biggest and most ambitious to date with more than 800 individual lanterns, set in over 30 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped grounds.
Working in partnership with The Roald Dahl Story Company, a series of stunning, illuminated scenes bring magical childhood favourites to life.
Each lantern scene will bring key moments from the iconic books to life, from The BFG and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Matilda, The Twits and Fantastic Mr Fox.
Marvel at the five-metre-tall BFG and walk through Wonka’s famous factory gates, just make sure you don’t fall into the Chocolate River like Augustus Gloop! Be amazed by James’ Giant Peach, find yourself awestruck by George’s Marvellous Medicine and be sure not to miss Matilda and Miss Honey.
The festive fun continues with Longleat’s famous 15-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree Show and the much-loved Santa Train*. *Separate booking required
