Shaun the Sheep’s flock expanding?

StudioCanel will give everyone’s favourite sheep his very own movie it was announced today.

Aardman Animations is to team up with French broadcasting giant StudioCanel to produce an animated Shaun the Sheep movie.

Nick Park created the animated character who featured in Wallace and Gromit’s third film in 1995 and went onto win the oscar for best animated short film.

 

The new movie is described as an “epic adventure” in which Shaun, Bitzer and the flock have to go to the big city to rescue [the Farmer]”. Kids will be flocking to the cinema to watch this and even us adults too are likely to enjoy it.

David Sproxton, Aardman’s executive chairman and a producer on The Pirates! said: “Shaun and his friends have a massive global following and we are very excited about being able to put them into a bigger adventure for the big screen.”
